11/25/06 Wallington Holiday Parade

Members of Station 3 and their families gathered for a night out in Wallington. The day started around 9am with decorating Engine 3 with lights and setting up a flatbed truck to be a living room complete with a fireplace and music. Also members lettered Chief Osbacks vehicle as a HESS toy truck complete with a lettered dirt bike on a trailer. At the parade route the members put on the finishing touches and had a small assortment of food before the start. Apparatus from all over NJ as well as out of state attended making the parade almost 3 hours long. After the parade members waited in the cold night air for awarding of trophies. Although we didnt win, a good time was had by all. Plans are already underway for the 2007 parade.
